1. Does our money really get there?

The money that is donated or raised by the sale of goods is wired directly to the bank accounts of our partners in Afghanistan and in the Afghan refugee camps in Pakistan.


2. How can I get a tax receipt?

FOR NO TAX RECEIPT

If a tax receipt is not required, and you wish to make a donation towards the efforts of Canadians in Support of Afghan Women, make your cheque payable to CSAW.

Mail all cheques to CSAW, 1515 Rebecca St., Suite 227, Oakville, ON L6L 5G8 (DO NOT MAIL CASH)

FOR TAX RECEIPT - Donations $30 and over

If a tax receipt is required and you wish to make a donation towards the efforts of Canadians in Support of Afghan Women, make your cheque payable to CW4WA (Canadian Women for Women in Afghanistan) and put CSAW on the memo line of your cheque.

3. Can men join CSAW?

Yes, CSAW is open to anyone who is interested.


4. Is this a religious based organization?

No we do not have an affiliation with any particular religious organization.


5. How are my donations used?

100% of all donations are used to support our three project partners; The Nazaneen Jabarkhil Education and Health Centres [NEHC], formerly known as Nazoo Anna Schools/Education Centres, AWRC's or Afghan Women Resource Centres [AWRC], and Libraries for Afghanistan.


6. What happens to the money raised by the sale of the goods that are handmade by Afghan women at the AWRC centres in Kabul, Afghanistan and in Peshawar, Pakistan?

100% of the money raised is returned to the AWRC centres.
