Join us for this official launch of Thunder over Kandahar sponsored by Annick Press and hosted by Annick Press and Canadians in Support of Afghan Women. The evening will consist of guest speakers, readings of Sharon’s book, entertainment, refreshments, Afghan food, Afghan music and an Afghan marketplace. Sharon will be signing her books and proceeds from the sale of the books will go towards Canadians in Support of Afghan Women. Formal part of the evening begins with the ring of the school bell at 6:45p.m.
